Bosphorous Cruise and Spice Bazaar Tour

Starts: 1pm

Finishes: 5pm

Itinerary:
The tour begins with a visit to the 17th-century Egyptian or Spice Bazaar where you will enjoy the colour and bustle of the traders. Constructed in the 1660s, it was named the Egyptian Bazaar because it was famous for selling products from Egypt. This is the place to pick up a herbal love potion if you so desire, spices, natural soaps and the famous Turkish delight.

Next we will take a cruise along the Bosphorus, the famous body of water diving the continents of Europe and Asia. As we cruise you will see the famous Dolmabahce and Beylerbeyi palaces, as well a number of mosques, fortresses, mansions and palaces. We guarantee that you won't stop clicking with your camera, such is the vast array of sights to see. The cruise will also take in the Rumeli Fortress, built in 1452 by Mehmet the Conqueror in preparation for his planned siege of Constantinople. Please note that if there are insufficient numbers for a private boat, this tour will be conducted using the public Bosphorous Ferry. On Sundays, the Spice Bazaar is closed, so will be replaced with a visit to Pierre Loti Hill.
