Itinerary:
We begin with visit to Pigeon Valley, a population destination for hikers and named because of the thousands of pigeon houses that have been carved into the soft rock formations since ancient times. While pigeon houses can be seen throughout Cappadocia, there is a particularly high concentration of them in this valley. Pigeons have been a source of food and fertilizer for hundreds of years in Cappadocia, and although chemical fertilisers have replaced pigeon fertiliser in many cases, some farmers insist that the excellent reputation of fruits grown in the Cappadocia region is due to the use of pigeon fertiliser. Next we visit Derinkuyu Underground City, the largest and the deepest of the underground cities in Cappadocia. You will be amazed by the low-key entrances which give way to elaborate subterranean systems which include air and waste shafts, wells, chimneys and lots of passageways. You will marvel at the design which includes living quarters located in the upper levels and storage and wine-making areas and chapels in the lower levels.

After that continue to Nar Lake which is situated in a crater. This is a beautiful place where you will have a chance to see a range of wildlife including turtles.

Then to the Ihlara Valley which is the deepest and the longest canyon in Cappadocia. The beautiful scenery as well as look at the ruins of over 60 Byzantine churches, chapels and monasteries dating back to the 11th - 13th centuries make this valley another popular destination for hikers. Please note that this section of the tour includes an optional 3km hike. Please let your tour guide know in advance if you think you will have difficulty completing it.

After lunch we continue to the village of Selime where you will have a chance to take photographs of some of the pinnacles where part of the filming for the movie Star Wars took place. After we finish our visit to Selime, you will be dropped back at your hotel.
